Good luck finding this monitor in stock, anywhere.

As per the manual, the max resolution that HDMI can do is 4K at 120hz. Anything over requires DP with DSC anyway. This is only good for consoles at 4K/120hz
  • IPS 1ms (GtG) 144Hz with VESA DSC Technology (O.C 160Hz)
  • UHD 4K & VRR up to 120Hz with HDMI 2.1
Even then, PS5 is capped at 32gbps, so it has to use 4:2:2

I don't think the monitor you listed is available yet.

The monitor I listed is rated #1 by multiple sites, including rtings.com
You can get up to 160hz on PC with displayport, but if you attach a console to this monitor, you will only get 60hz, as it is hdmi 2.0

Rtings is good for data only… their weighted rating system is a disaster. I do see this recommended on many other sites tho but that’s some serious coin to dole out!!!

Yea TVs are still way behind monitors when it comes to gaming.

While PS5 can do 4k120, very few games support that, and of those that do, none of them support GSync/freesync/vrr as sony itself still hasn't added it, thus you'll get tearing as aside from some 2D games, none of them run at a smooth 120 fps. While 120hz is awesome, it's hard to properly enjoy the boost with a variable frame rate and tearing.

It *should* be able to run 1440p 120hz for ps5, but again very few games support that, so you're gonna usually be looking at 4k60 or 1080p120.

So yea, unless your specifically buying this for a Xbox series X.. Really won't make a difference.

And yea the GP is not available yet, and even once it is.. Will it be able to do xbox/ps5 at 120hz? who knows, there's been so many bugs with the hdmi implementations, there's no guarantee it will work. It's still a very immature buggy technology.

I have the GN, run it on my pc ofcourse, Gsync works amazing, highly variable framerate games still look perfectly smooth without tearing. Super recommended, especially at this price. (I paid around $1300 cuz was impossible to find one in canadan, so paid mega shipping fee from US)
