We are leaving from YQR (Regina) and have a stay over in Dallas both ways. But for the price it was worth it. 460 each, round trip.
Major price drops to Central America from across Canada ~$380-$450 RT after taxes

For those out West, Delta looks to be stirring the pot on prices to Central America again today. Dropping them to $360-$400 roundtrip after taxes. Their flights to Liberia, Costa Rica (LIR) generally have the best connections each way of the destinations that have dropped. Focus on late Feb and March flights.
Tegucigalpa, Honduras - $362 roundtrip after taxes (bad connections both ways)

Liberia, Costa Rica (LIR) - $381 roundtrip after taxes (decent connections both ways)

http://www.kayak.com/flights/#YYC-LIR/2 ... 1-flexible
Belize City, Belize - $403 roundtrip after taxes (bad connection there, decent on the way back)

Replace YYC with your airport code in the links above.
Edmonton = YEG
Regina = YQR
Saskatoon = YXE
Winnipeg = YWG
Vancouver (YVR) has also dropped, but really not any decent flights, even to LIR.
Also some cheap ones from YYZ to LIR with decent connections each way. Not as cheap as the Thomas Cook charter flights in January ($330 all in) but pretty cheap ($360 all in) from a major airline with a variety of dates available.

I'm a travel junkie that's hooked on deals from airports that start with Y.

Does Cmyden or anybody else have any good reccomendations for an all inclusive resort in Costa Rica in February? We're moderately frugal, but like good food!
Any help appreciated!

I just booked return from YYC-LIR for $380 taxes in for March 5-20!
I normally like backpacking around but I may keep my eyes open for a good all-inclusive incase ones pops up.
There is one on Groupon right now but not really sure how good of a deal it is...

Any thoughts? That last groupon deal for Tamarindo looked to be a great deal!
