Great deal, in for 1.

Kinda regretting not getting lifetime subscription when they were available. Oh well.

OP, can you update the title with some mention of "Students / StudentBeans"?

Ok so I am signed up and got my 4 years, but how does one disable this stupid auto renewal? Says I will be charged $200+ automatically when the current subscription is over in 2023. I want to make sure it doesn't do that.

I paid through paypal since I had some money in there to cover. Perhaps I can just cancel the billing agreement in paypal.

You can stop auto renewal in your online MalwareBytes profile. They send you an email on how to access it.

Thanks. I figured it out.
I also did cancel the paypal billing agreement as well just to be safe.

I goofed when I signed up for this. Wanted to put this on 2 PCs and I now see I could have for an extra $5 when I made my initial order. However I only purchased for 1 device.
Looks like if I want another I will need a new code from studentbean and another .edu email. Oh well.

Edit: Nevermind, got it for another $5!

I tried to sell a couple of these codes in the BST forum just hoping I could make the money back from the subscriptions, but no bites.

Here's a free code if anyone wants.

Ehh, knowing how fast RFD members work, it's probably already taken.

You would go to https://estore.malwarebytes.com/order/c ... _promo-EDU
Then input the code in the student discount box. If it hasn't been taken, the price will adjust to $6.xx CAD and then you can buy it. You can increase the number of devices (PCs) you want the license to work on for an extra $5 USD each time.

If the code doesn't work, someone took it already.

No problem. Just make sure to log into your malwarebytes account and turn off auto renewal. Or else they're going to charge you $200+ to renew the subscription in May 2023.

Another free code: 464D3C12 - gone
