Mandarin channels on Rogers for a senior?

Hi there.

What would you recommend for Mandarin channel(s) for a senior on Rogers VIP in Brampton? I don't think VIP includes any Chinese channels, but I'm not 100% sure. I don't see any in this list though:

Which are worth the extra cost and which are not? What about channel packages? She speaks Mandarin and a bit of English. No Cantonese.

I know it's mostly personal preference, but nonetheless any advice would still be recommended. I know nothing about the Chinese channels. I called Rogers and it just so happened I connected with a Chinese-speaking agent by coincidence, but her main Chinese dialect was Cantonese, and she was quite young and didn't watch Chinese channels anyway so she couldn't give any useful advice for channels for Mandarin customers.

I see on this page there is the Mandarin Select Package for $20, and the Mandarin Popular Package also for $20:

EDIT:

Hmm... New Tang in the Mandarin Select Package is a Falun Gong channel. WTF? I'm not going to have her pay for that. So, I'm thinking Mandarin Popular Package might fit the bill.
