Are the crab legs back or are they still gone?
From what I know, crab legs are disappearing from all buffets even in US due to cost. Over fishing is driving up prices. At least Mandarin dropped their buffet price by $3 when they took it off the menu.

I worked through this event on the 25th anniversary which was the first one. Seat time limit was 1h30min. Line up was long, good 200m worth the whole time. We gave out free water since it was hot outside. In Burlington it was reasonably organized back then. People in line kept going to Tim hortons to buy cold drinks while they waited. A few butted in line but we had some line enforcement.

Dont go if you cannot wait for at least 2hrs. There was even a customer who called in later at night to complain about him having to wait so long. It was a free event! Alot of people will come.

I dont work there anymore but would not be going, rather pay then wait in the hot sun.

Should probably indicate in the thread this is an Ontario restaurant because I'm assuming people are not referring to the Mandarin restaurant in Saskatoon?

As an aside, is that the establishment from A Christmas Story?

They should quiz the people with citizenship questions.
That'll cut the crowd up by more than half probably lol.

i think I’d rather redo the Raptors’ parade than go to Mandarin July 1st.

The crowd would be smaller at the parade. Smiling Face With Open Mouth

WOW, this is totally unexpected from Mandarin. Do the right thing, don't just eat for free, order drinks and pay tips on the cost of buffet and drinks. Make it a Happy Canada day for everyone.

Dress code for Mandarin?
It just means to wear any kind of pants and not come ala carte. If they'll let you wear a Toga definitely consider it.
