Mandarin - Lobster Twist - Anyone know if they are having it this year?

Hey Everyone,

Has anyone heard whether Mandarin is having their Lobster Twist celebration this year? Just haven't heard anything, and in looking at the forums; I take it that it's usually in-between mid-May to mid-June.

I've checked the website, and nothing.

So...anyone have any ideas?

last year's lobserfest was fairly bad - the lobster was not fresh, and was reheated repeatedly thus very tough and dry.

Do yourself a favor and just pay 5.99/lb and buy some of those 5.5lb or larger LIVE lobster. The stuff at mandarin is to be avoided - most of the customers did ignore it because it looked and tasted nasty.

last year was pretty bad for lobster. At most I could only eat like one or two. I remember a long time ago, it was pretty good and they had boiled or baked ones. Last year it was salty, overcooked and just not that enjoyable.

sorry..i dont know but...Metro has lobster tails on sale for $4.99 each & whole lobsters (live) for $7.99
Fri /sat & sun only (june 18-20)
