Sparky is ready for gold he placed 2nd overall yesterday in the semi-finals, hard to believe he almost died around the same time last year from horrific injuries !
Finals for Slope Style is tonight at 8:00pm EDT or 10:00am Pyeongchang time.

After watching the Unbroken special on Mark McMorris, I couldn't be any more proud of his finish regardless of medal.

But I'm not going to make light of what he was certainly capable of by saying, a Bronze is great considering what happened less than 12 months ago.

The reality is, he was the most consistent today, completed the more technically difficult run, and had a legitimate shot at Gold. That speaks more to what he's accomplished on top of the colour of the medal.

He still has another crack at gold in the Big Air event the Saturday after.
Quarter finals is the Wednesday after at 9:30pm EST and finals on Saturday at 8:00pm EST.
If you guys didn't noticed his big bro Craig is the CBC analyst for snowboarding.
