ANDATA: An Outward Journey
ANDATA, meaning “an outward journey” is a musical programme that shapes its landscape through a bounty of textures, moods and ambient themes. Deriving its title from an opening piece inside the Japanese composer Ryuichi Sakamoto’s album “Async,” ANDATA teeters between a world of introspection and fragility, showcasing works from Franck’s monumental Prelude Chorale & Fugue to that of Janáček’s wistful sonata No. 1.
In-gallery performance will begin at 6:30 p.m.
