I remember when this used to be $10 special (less than 2 years ago). Meanwhile our wages have not gone up similarly, if at all.

I would say it's my favourite fried chicken place, pop eyes tastes better imo but they're pieces are much smaller and you get less meat. KFC is just greasy and alot of brown meat.

I bought this the other day, it was very good, re-heated 3 pieces this morning, still good. I've given up on the Colonel, here in Kingston, its just terrible. Mary Brown's was really good !

Agreed. Never KFC. Its overpriced for small greasy nasty little pieces of chicken. I find it's a toss up between Popeyes and Mary browns. My personal taste prefers the Mary browns though as I like a lighter and more seasoned batter. I also prefer the taters at Mary browns over the fries and other side's at Popeyes

Ihave Mary Brown's fried chicken at least once a week,it's really great especially the spicy chicken,smaller pieces and less fat if we compare it with Popeye's ,but my family prefer taters over fries,I find it a little bit salty so I prefer fries.
It's very difficult to choose between it and Popeye's fried chicken,each one has it's unique taste.
