There's another thread in hot deal with people buying the lower model of the trumedic. I believe someone tried a few trumedic models and the 2000 model was best for them.

Honestly at the end of the day it depends on your budget... Higher end chairs cost and have more features. You should first define budget, and maybe try a couple chairs?

My opinion is if you have the budget.. Buy the nicest one that you can buy. Massage chair is typically a luxury item, better to buy 1 chair than multiple chairs over time.

Btw.. Osim is just a brand name in typical Asian countries like Hong Kong.. They are not necessarily ranked the highest in massage chairs.... Their marketing is good and that's it..

I've tried Panasonic ones and Osim ones. I actually like the Osim ones. It's kinda gimmicky with space saving features etc. I'm not sure how reliable they are over time.

I own a TruMedic 3000 massage chair since 2017. To be honest, it's disappointing when it comes repair. And I do not recommend it unless you have additional warranty purchased from TruMedic (if that's even possible)

My TruMedic massage never worked properly since day one. Called Trumedic and they scheduled repair tech to came for 2 times and eventually replaced with a new one. The whole process took about 3 months.

The second time my massage chair broken down was about 6 months after warranty expired (2 years warranty). This time repairing it is a nightmare. After 4 months of waiting...begging...I'm still waiting for part costs (which I was told it's going to be expensive)....

TruMedic outsources their repair to FurnitureMedic.ca and that is where the problem is. Apparently massage chair repair is a monopoly game in Toronto. There is only one franchisee handling all GTA area and he is super busy. Just to get an appointment with him to come out check my chair took 2 months of waiting...I was fed up and waited to try find another company for repair shop, but there isn't one. So I called TruMedic and they told they don't work with anybody else but FurnitureMedic.ca.... I called FurniturMedic head office wanting to get another franchisee to come for repair. I was told there isn't anyone else and I just have to wait....

So yup, after 4 months and counting, spent $120 for the FurniturMedic to come out to repair. I'm still in limbo. My massage chair still doesn't work.

So if the massage chair company doesn't have in-house repair tech...I wouldn't recommend it if you live in GTA area.

I went to Osim store. Their massage chair is superior than TruMedic. TruMedic's massage chair uses airbags to massage hands and feet, it's loud also you can see airbags inflate and deflates. Osim chair uses foam, you can't see the rollers/airbags, feels much closer to masseuse's hands. Also TruMedic chairs can only massage up to the back of your shoulders. Osim can actually massage shoulders and head. However, keep in mind Osim is an Asian brand, so if you are very tall, or over 250 lbs, Osim is probably feels too small for you.

Worth knowing TruMedic have a warehouse with Showroom in Scarb. And Osim's store is at Markville mall. So try out both before making a purchase.

Hope this helps!

Now it's time for me to ask my question... is there any Osim uLove/uLove 2 owners out there can share experience on product quality or review their in-house repair team?

What is the lowest price you have seem Osim uLove go for? It's currently listed as $8580 + HST...expensive..I heard they had a black friday deal..can anybody share the price?

Thanks!
