Maybe you guys can sway me...

The Audi is $3K more than the Merc.
Both are equipped the same (loaded) exception is the Quattro vs RWD, same mileage, same CPO warranties etc.
Love the interior and exterior of both.
Love the ride quality of both.

So now I cant decide. So far I am leaning more towards the Audi, for the Quattro.

Merc looks much sharper to me. I do like Quattro, but beyond that not much.

Between the C63 AMG and the RS5 I'd get the RS5 since its V8 revs to 8000+rpm.

What does revving to 8000+ rpm do for you?

mercs previous gen looks ugliest out of the 3 german manufacturers. at same time audi design seems very old dating back to early 2000s models and looks like a sleeper sedan. in the end i prefer audi

Test drove 2011 and 2012 328xi and REALLY didnt like the drive and the steering had a horrible feel to me. Also interior was the cheapest looking / feeling of them all.

Audi will be cheaper to repair in the long run.

I'd go for 2008 c63 AMG, 0-60 in 3.9 sec compare to 4.5 for RS4 and 4.3 for M3.

C63 is a lot faster, quick and light steering, instant response from shift paddles, quietest under 110 km/h, probably has the best seats and styling is fine compare to RS4 and M3 and you will have lots of fun beating bland and ghetto BMWs in a drag race.

Hmmm, hard decision. I will pick the Mercedes, because that sharpen look, sport elegance. But all depends of your taste.

I would take the Mercedes.

OP says they are equipped the same, so 4Matic on the Merc vs Quattro on the Audi, for $3k less - Merc.

Mercedes is RWD, Audi is Quattro.

To me the merc looks nicer. But the Audi is cheaper and, you say, just as nice in all other ways PLUS it is 4WD.

I would think the Audi (I don't think it is $3k more ugly) but I would check the reliability of both first.

Same can apply to the Audi. Ever since I own vehicles, AWD or not, they all get the winter rims/tires.... thats what the stock rims are for lol :)
