I've found that at some locations in Ontario I can still get $1 coffees by just re-ordering from my purchase history. This was true long after the promo ended.
There's actually a whole other thread about doing this. However I've never gotten it to work in my area--orders just show "unavailable" in my history.

Saw this today at the Richmond, BC location

I asked a store in downtown Toronto and they told me that people have been asking about it all day. It's for BC, Yukon, Quebec and a few other provinces only until May 5th. Ontario not included because we had the promo already when the other provinces didn't have it happening earlier this year.

I said other people have confirmed Toronto locations and his answer was those are individual locations who have not deactivated the promo when the promo ended so it would be in your best interest not to expose those locations so that you can keep on getting it.

$1 coffee all sizes but only at Eglinton-warden (Scarborough). You have to buy from the cashier, not the machine. This promo is only for this location.

off all the locations I frequent, the only place I got this to work at was at Islington one (north of Queensway, GTA) and Kingston one off the 401 exit. Ordered always thry the app, the $1 was available thru hot drinks menu.

Is the McDonald's app safe to use? Many got defrauded lately.

This guy from Toronto was cleaned out to the tune of $2,000 in April.

This woman from Halifax got charged almost $500 on her Visa debit card in January.

Should the app be unistalled from our phones until McD takes security more seriously?

Of course, McD denies any security flaw or responsibility and blames the users for badly managing their passwords.

Are the deals in the app worth the risk of McHassle fighting a McHack?
Can you use the App and not register a Credit card and pay cash?

Nooooooo! I went to McDonald's this morning and not only was the $1 coffee no longer on the menu, but I only had "Item Unavailable" in my Recent and Favorite orders. (This is in Ontario, to be precise.) I guess they finally wised up. :-(

EDIT: False alarm, it was working again this evening. Odd.
