Managed to check out with the combo/meal glitch after it was fixed.
When I learned about the glitch this morning, I added it to cart working under the assumption that it would be fixed. I checked out with the $3.00 combo inc. ice coffee.

Went to the store around 3:00 and the app kept telling me that the promotion in my cart was invalid. I went to the cashier and gave them the order code anyway, she found my order right away and printed me a receipt :).

Regarding the Big Mac, it was yummy, but literally the exact same sandwhich that I remember from weeks ago. I'm not sure what had changed, but for a $3 meal, felt good.

Hello, I'd like to introduce to you Harvey of Harvey's

Have you met my friend KFC?
At least Wendys fries are good when fresh. They're a dumpster fire if they're held for more than 12 seconds but fresh they decent.
Also crinkle cuts but that's not really fast food.

TIL McDonald's = Taco Bell

They seem to be putting more sauce, which reminds me more of the big mac I used to eat when a kid/teen, decades ago, and that is a good thing. I rarely eat big macs nowadays but when I did, I found it too bland.

What exactly was the hack anyways? Did any news come out? Based on my reading it sounds like people were simply using common words as passwords and they were brute force "hacked."

This is what I did.

Also how do you generate a new card number? I missed that option.

thank you mcdonalds, I will enjoy your delicious but disgusting unhealthy bigmacs that were rooted in my childhood for the next week. Also your ice cream cone, and your $1 drink until the end of summer. Then I will go back to my regular routine of ignoring mcdonalds until we meet again in 2020. This big mac deal is like once every 10 years though...the last big mac promo I remember must have been back when I was in highschool. Toonie big macs, or buy one big mac and get one free or buy one and get a second for $0.25.

By the way, i'm a bit concerned about the amount of plastic waste from the drink cups im using. Does anyone know if mcdonalds allows you to bring you're own mug ?

pretty much, No different than PC Optimum accounts getting "hacked"

Emails and same passwords were used and ultimately compromised, and that's how they were compromised and used to buy lots of food, or points stolen.

I actually did the $1 big mac deal, but it was too much of a bother to create new accounts for multiple big macs. Don't know about free big macs.

however, they've always used reconstituted dehydrated onions on BM's, and cheeseburgers. QP on the other hand, had raw/fresh onions.
