I thought it was $4.99 for a combo, not just the sandwich.

Warm deal.

I only go to McD for the $1 drinks and coffee. The food there is trash. Burgers are below average since they took away the Angus. The fries are nothing special especially if you remember what their fries tasted like back in the 90s when it was fried in beef fat.

I almost forgot to play the McCoffee contest today, thanks for the inadvertent reminder OP.

They don't stack unless the cashier is on roids and forces it.
In fact in Rand McNally they wear hats on their feet and hamburgers eat people

McDonalds is raising prices. They were always the ones to keep prices stable. $4.99 is not a sale. I remember $3.00 on the app. Then they messed up the app and you need to spend $20 to get a free coffee as opposed to buying 7 $1 coffees with the app to get a free mocha coffee.

Today I bought a breakfast sausage mcmuffin and chicken mcmuffin and a $2 smoothie drink and it came out to like $8. Crazy prices. And these are the cheaper items on the menu...

I remember back in the 50s when McD burgers were made from horse meat, so yummy. The beef ones these days are so are yuk!

no shit. it’s 2022 and inflation is the worst in 40 years. minimum wage is like 16 an hour. but let’s keep thinking prices should be 5 bucks a combo.

Here it is. I found the invoice for my last Big Mac on sale, just 9 month ago. $3.
So if we calculate it on the basis of annualized inflation like the government does we are at 88% YoY.

Indeed. Welcome to RFD. Some people here are living like it was 20 years ago. Yeah I could buy a big mac combo for $4.99 in 2004.... sure.... you know what else? I could also buy a brand new car for $10k. Labour has doubled for sure, was $8 an hour like 15 years ago now it's double that. The same people going out and paying $20k over MSRP for a vehicle will whine about paying $2 extra for a big mac lol. Same people who think footlong subs at Subway should be $5 for the rest of eternity. Subway comes out with any sub for $8 and people are like "Lemme know when it's $5"...... uh, back in 2005?
