Downvoted. Where's my extra NUGGET??!!!

But seriously, I guess MCDS finally realized their point system is not enough to keep people buying their overpriced patties.

Don't remind me.
I was just thinking about this as I was filling up yesterday.
In the early 90s when gas prices in Quebec were around $0.55-$0.60.. When I would to Toronto, it was closer to $0.45/L.
The good old days.

Everything is up...some places are becoming unaffordable (and/or fiscally irresponsible)

Side note. Last weekend I had to house to myself so decided to party it up w/ ordering out, beer and hockey.
Every option I selected on UE or DD would have cost min 40$. I hit McD's drive-thru instead for 14$

Pre-pandemic, from a local Greek place, 2 gyros, large fries and drink delivered for 24$ (including tip)
This past weekend, same place, same order would have been 42$

on DD last week the local Sushi place raised their rates by min.30%

Regular priced combo is now over $10 where I am. Had a good laugh at a 2 for $18 offer in the app a few days ago. Borderline insulting, would rather have no offers.

Yep looks like they have put an end to the paper/printable coupons (unless someone got some paper ones in the mail?).

Thing that sucks about that is you can only use the app ones once per week per coupon type (though you could make multiple accounts of course), instead of unlimited times as with the codes on the paper coupons. Edit: Looks like some coupons can be used multiple times/wk.

Also the mobile coupons are more limited--there's only like 4-5 coupons, as compared with more types in the paper/printable set--e.g. don't think there's any Mcflurry coupon in the app, etc.

Yeah and when 647 was not even heard of as an area code, lol. Heck even then 905 and mandatory 10-digit dialing was just coming into existence in the early 90s.

The combo/meal app offers can be used 3 times during the offer period and per day, only the $3.49 + tax Big Mac or McChicken can by used 1 time.
