And it's $5 for a lifetime membership. No one should be complaining about this.

It's only $5, lasts forever... They also have an amazing return policy, so it's totally worth it

No complaints about membership fee here. got one but can't find products with good prices that I can't buy elsewhere cheaper.

I don't get it. If Canadian Tire starts charging a membership fee, I shouldn't complain because it's $5 for a lifetime membership?

BTW, I have an MEC membership.

No just dont shop there. Ive multiple people complain about MEC membership but never about Costcos $60/year membership which I find strange.

MEC prices hover around the average. I actually use them to price match more often and to get the items asap.

MEC is good if you're looking for specific outdoor stuff that most retailers don't carry.

If you're there to buy the more common brands or outdoor sport attire/gear, shopping at sc/atmos/cantire/sporting life/altitude/tlh during a sale will always be cheaper.

No MEC in the USA. The USA equivalent is REI which charges $20 USD.
