No complaints about membership fee here. got one but can't find products with good prices that I can't buy elsewhere cheaper.

I don't get it. If Canadian Tire starts charging a membership fee, I shouldn't complain because it's $5 for a lifetime membership?

No just dont shop there. Ive multiple people complain about MEC membership but never about Costcos $60/year membership which I find strange.

MEC prices hover around the average. I actually use them to price match more often and to get the items asap.

MEC is good if you're looking for specific outdoor stuff that most retailers don't carry.

If you're there to buy the more common brands or outdoor sport attire/gear, shopping at sc/atmos/cantire/sporting life/altitude/tlh during a sale will always be cheaper.
