Based on reviews, looks like they have different cuts for men versus women meaning that the shoulder straps are placed more closely together to accommodate for the smaller frame of women versus guys.

I didn’t know backpacks form factors were so calculated instead of straps being randomly placed on.

Great deal. I’m little scared of the couple of reviews that say it wrecks the clothing it comes in contact with. What is this thing made out of? Sandpaper?

I have the non-womens model of this bag. It's a great bag. Sees light use but after 8 years it still looks new. Very durable and comfortable to me.
