Fine print says starting at $19.95 (after you search for your nearest location).

Best to call and confirm the price for your specific car. I know mine had a slight surcharge $1.60 for the oil filter, when I used to get $20 oil changes there years back. it is probably just $19.95 for most common models, but they might be scamming.

Or you can just change your own oil?
And?
So why are you in the thread.

As for price its pretty decent but on a 2010 cobalt they said charges for filter and oil deposit would be $28.99 so not so much a deal.
On bmw x5 not due for change but will be getting it ready for winter and they said $74.89 synthetic.

Wonder who gets the 19,99 or 49,99

Thanks mate you can change all our oils for us as most of us don't want to waste our time or jack it up or have to dump a container at Canadian tire to depose of.

Probably no one.
Isn't there still a $4-5 oil disposal fee? I don't think any shop adds that into their advertised price. I think they even put sales tax on top of it, here.

If you have a turbo sure, if not then as long as you are putting quality oil in it shouldn't matter.

Just don't switch back and forth

Is this a "safe" place to change oil, or are they kids like at Crappy Tire / Mr. Lube?

Just want to point out that their basic oil change always starts at $19.95 and I've never been charged anything more than that.. At several different locations.

I get my oil change at Costco which uses synthetic oil, other time, the lineup is too long or they're full for the day, I go to oil changer for the regular oil (non synthetic)...

When you say "just don't switch back and forth", any particular reason for not switching between regular & synthetic oil? I've been doing that for about 3 years now, seems ok. My car isn't new (2006 nissan with 230+km). tia.

i went there once, they refused to do an oil change because i had "suspension issues" and they said they would be liable if they worked on it and i left and wrecked someone/something.... so i drove the car away, looked at it after, it was one loose bolt, they could have easily put it back in place with zero issue, but instead wanted to milk me for mechanical work to tighten a bolt.
