[Memory Express] [1 day only] ADATA Ultra-Compact Micro SD Card Reader w/ LED Indicator $4.99

Daily deal on Memory Express website

Love the sleek design, I put one of my older micro SD cards into this reader, and it has become a very small form factor USB drive that I save all my songs and plug it in my car

For $4.99, I'd grab a couple as stock stuffer!

Shipping costs more than the item... Looks like more of a local pickup deal.

It is also usb2.0, which will bottleneck transfer speeds.

not all card readers are created equal. Some are so underpowered it wont read or write more than 20megs/sec. This one doesnt even say which speed of cards it is compatiable with.

This...

If speed is the factor, keep this in mind.

I picked up a pair of these few weeks ago [was like 2 for 10 bucks or something] and otherwise they are great, very compact, quality is good and so far no problems..

I have this exact one, the transfer speed is actually pretty decent, it's awesome for PCs that don't have a built-in card reader. Considering that most people probably have a micro SD card 128gb or less, USB 2.0 isn't actually that much of a bottleneck.

Agreed. I've had one for years. Works well and transfer speeds are still pretty good for USB2.0

Pretty good one, been used this for 3+ years. Currently, it is in my model 3 and recording all the clips on a SanDisk endurrance micro SD card.
