Showing $339 (MSRP) for me.

For $299 I would consider it though - that's only $20 more then the non-X 3600. Not that you get much more performance from the 'X', but it does come with a better cooler, and a few MHz more boost.

I think the reviews were pretty conclusive that the 3600X wasn't worth it over the 3600. But if we're only talking $20 or $30 difference, sure why not.

i thought the X versions doesn't come with a cooler? or is that just the 3700 series?

i do believe every 3rd gen ryzen processor comes with a cooler
