Tons of stock in store. GPU shortage is coming to an end.

Heh, that'd be right. I noticed them in stock at my local store this morning for $1089.99, but decided it was still too expensive. They were out of stock before the price even dropped.

I hope whoever bought at full price takes advantage of price protection!

I've been watching video cards for the past month or so and have seen stock/price fall significantly.

Maybe the anticipation of 4000 series is helping this as well? Regardless, the trajectory is clear, hodl!

Relative performance of 3070Ti to other cards. It's a bit faster than a 3070:

Good price! Screw scalpers, I bought my 3070 for 700 something one year ago. So this is definitely a good price.

Is ok, prices will probably keep dropping if you can wait.

Thanks for the graph, was gonna pull the trigger for in-laws, but seeing this graph, hard to justify the price when I paid 900 tax in for a 6800xt.

MSRP is $820 I believe... still needs to go way below MSRP to be a good deal/value.

Missed out on the last BB drop for a new built, this seems like a decent price. But will wait and see if I can grab a 3080 at MSRP in the next few months.

I'm honestly surprised at how quickly 3000 series card prices are dropping - they've been practically in free fall in the last two weeks.

In any case, I think the 3070ti is a more than adequate card to pull the trigger on if you've been holding out on this generation. The 3080 probably isn't going to drop lower than the ~$1200-1300, and those are only the 10 GB models and they sell out almost instantly. And even if you get one at that price, that's a 33%-ish price increase for about 20% increase in performance. Not a super great value proposition imo
