1920 x 1080 on a 28" will look like crap. this should be higher resolution then 1920 x 1080.

I've had a pair of GW2750s (earlier model) for a few years and they work fine. Running Premiere and used for critical viewing.

No, it's a VA (vertical alignment). Generally : weaker color fidelity (vs. IPS) and slower response rate (vs. TN). But better contrast ratios thanks to lower black levels. Also no IPS glow and less prone to backlight bleed.
