Seems like an ok good deal, I was able to get the i5 10600k for $349 and Asus Prime Z490-A for $199 on BF ($548 total) , so a couple more cores and threads for $150 + $8.99 shipping at ME

Seems like one of those things that is a good deal against the retail cost of the part, and ok in the case of urgent need due to supply issues with other ones.

But overall does not make too much sense. At retail price the 10700k makes sense for hardly anyone (paying too much extra over 10600k for negligible gaming improvement, and if you are willing to pay more for more productivity capability it is a weird mid point to stop at).

And all of that is before we get into Ryzen.
