Don't think the cables are detachable. That is kinda a deal killer for me. Still rocking my hyper x alloy fps pro, which I beat to death.

Not super hard to mod this tho. I mean, I fully understand that most of people aren't comfortable soldering, or even opening a keyboard - nor want to have the extra work that ideally should have been done by the manufacturer...

I've done on my Filco, and if I was able to, I guess anyone should be have the ability.

Too many ports fail over the years, I prefer attached cables.

To be honest, most of them are detachable, just not from the case (using microusb/usb-c)

I had the g815 linear and now rocking the z20.

I hated the 815 linear. Couldn't type on it worth a damn.

Love the z20 for typing. However the stock keycaps is ABS rubbish. Had to swap them out for pbt double shots. Otherwise wicked keyboard and would recommend over the g815 for performance and price - since it's less than half the price of the 815.

The 815 is sexy AF though. I gotta give Logitech props for that.

Giving the Z15 a try - seems like the same features I like in the Corsair K70 (except maybe the keycaps?) for $100 less.

and mind you that EVGA uses standard keycap sizes. so you can pretty much buy any fullsize kit and replace them in minutes. While corsair have an odd sized bottom row,

To be honest I think this keyboard is just meh. No detached cable, HUGE branding in the middle of the board (makes it looks so bad), switches are very hard to remove, stupid 2000s gamer font keycaps, and yes, a gaming keyboard FULL SIZE in 2021.. For the same price I would rather get something from HyperX.
