Not to be confused with the RX6600XT. This card is the most entry level card, comparable to the 3050.

Good price OP. Thanks for sharing.

Not really, RX 6600 is very close to RTX 3060.

No, it is not. Stop cherry picking result

It seems for this gen, most AMD cards will lose more fps as resolution goes up, more so than nvidia cards.
It doesn't help us gamers AMD chooses model name/number to confuse us. Make us think 6600 == 3060 and 6600xt == 3060 ti etc...
In reality, it is actually more like this: 6600 < 3060 < 6600xt < 3060 ti < 6700 xt < 3070 .....

Close, yes, but for some it might be a deal breaker regardless. The casual user won't notice a difference and should go for the 6600 at that price. If you want 1440 or higher memory for the future, the 3060 wins hands down . For about $100 more, up to you to decide whether or not it's worth it.

Personally I ended up with a 3060 because that is what was available, but I would have happily paid a little less for a 6600, considering I game very casually.

Do you want to turn on ray tracing? Skip this, save and wait for a 3060.

Do you want at some point in the future to game at 1440p? Skip this and wait for a 3060 at least but probably a 6600XT or 3060ti.

Otherwise, decent deal!
