The SD card looks good.

It feels like we've got too many stores now for buying computer parts.

SSD and SD card will be gone for sure. NCIX left a huge vacuum. Enormous walk-in personal and small/medium business base.
Pepsi: First a XBox360, then a Samsung 40" LCD HDTV, then a Sony Ericsson W300i, then a Samsung 32" LCD HDTV, then a ...

Coke: What!? This isn't a $2249 Dell Inspiron 6000! It's an entry level $899 laptop! But hey, thanks for the two Nintendo Wii's!

Yea, I suspect either Canada Computers or Memory Express will pull back after a while, especially around NCIX's old Burnaby location where they now both have a store. Can't possibly be enough business there to keep them both going.

That's insane! Are they all for the ssd and sd cards? I was too naive thinking about going there at 11.

Yes, 9:15 AM, 70 people in line now, so you probably missed out on the SSD and SD card.

People still line up just saving a few bucks? Time is still cheap, I guess, even living in Vancouver...

Seems like it's not possible to order online for pick up in store with Memory Express anymore?

Heard they were giving out swag bags. Do you know what was in it?

Disable before any major sales (grand opening, black friday, boxing day, etc) so you can't order online and take away in store stock since ME wants some foot traffic during those sales. Of course they really could just disable it for sale items instead of everything... not actually that hard to change the coding (i actually did it as a project in university... without security protocol since that wasn't in the scope of things and it took me only a few hours for a full website) to prevent some items from being order online -> instore.

The first sale there was just a mousepad/mousemat. I’m curious as well, what was in the swag bag this time?

MSI bag, 3.5 audio cable Kopplen 3.3 ft, Kanto USB A-A 3m/10' Black, charge/sync cable Kopplen, Type C to USB 3.0 Kopplen and a pretty nice Republic of Gamers water drink bottle (tumbler size).

The first 25 people got AMD swag bags. I was 26th and got an Acer bag. MSI dragon toy 7 cm that hangs from your monitor, HyperX sweat armband x2, Seagate sunglasses, Seagate cloth glass wipe x2, Seagate keyring, ADATA ringed-binded half notepad.

I was hoping for a mouse pad!
