Selling a game will be harder as you will need to enter your steam account details meaning you'd have to make a new steam account to sell and see if the buyer only wants to buy that account with a single game.

negative, nowadays they scan your system to see if you have the qualifying video card or not.
Nvidia does this by making you redeem through Geforce Experience app.
AMD probably no different.

AMD actually asked for this when I redeemed the code recently:
Thank you for contacting AMD Rewards Support,

We received the image of the coupon code that was sent to you.

To further assist you, we require the full image of your Purchase Receipt from the retailer for your recent AMD purchase.

The receipt image needs to show the following information:
- Name of Retailer
- AMD Product
- Your Name
- Receipt Number
- Receipt Date

It can be print screen, screen shot, or scanned.

Is this a good price for this card? If I'm not hurting for a graphics card right now but could use a new one should I wait or pull the trigger?

170 for a video card nowadays is the lowest it has ever been. is it powerful enough for your liking? all depends what games you play and youll want to play.
this is a good card to wait until you can get a good deal on a high end card as at this price you will probably get close to your entire money back when you are going to resell.

Considering Im running a 5+ year old Radeon HD 6870 and I really only play games like counter strike, I'm assuming this will suffice? Will this run fortnite and other battle royale games?

Weird, I didn't have to do any of that. When entering my code into the AMD rewards site, it did scan my system to see whether the qualifying product was installed though. I tried entering it before installing the card and it said it couldn't find it. After I installed my RX 570 it worked no problem. I didn't have to install any other software.

Do you guys think it's worth it to upgrade from a Radeon R9 380 4GB? Judging by the benchmarks the RX 570 will get higher FPS but not significantly.

Do you think I'll experience a bottleneck considering my motherboard only supports PCIe 2.0 while this card is 3.0?
