Note these are not the wireless Bluetooth version.
I have the BT ones and they are the best over-ear headphones I've ever used. These corded ones look like a pretty good buy, however I dislike headphone that have 2 wires (one coming from each ear), find they get in the way; much prefer one wire.
On the Koodo $40 for 8GB Plan 😉

I rate the BT version very top of my headphones list.

Anyone who tried both, how does these compare to the AKG C50BT's that are on sale for 100$ at Costco?

I find most headphones have two cables, except for gaming headsets.

It might have something to do with powering the extra bass? I don't actually know, but the BT version can't use the Bass Boost fonction when wired.

One is BT and the other is cored so is comparing apple to oranges in a way but the AKG is more equivalent to the XB650BTB so the one in this post is a bit higher end but corded.

No, typically only one cord comes out, but to power the other side there is a cord going through the headband.

I had the 950BTs and returned it for the same reason to Costco . I now own the Skullcandy's that were recently on sale at the Source and they are better for me.
