Does anyone know if the "discount lock" works with renewals? Can we just let discount lock go through if we want to renew, or do we have to change our address again?

I'm not sure as I've never used it but I would't. I'm never sure how publishers will process a renewal for a subscription with an old US address changed to a CDN address.

Hi all, looking to resubscribe back to the economist, could someone advise where I could find the cheapest 1yr sub for both print + digital access?

Your cheapest sub would be their 12 week offer for $12.

Then the next would be their 1 year for $162 - https://subscription.economist.com/offers/subscription

Or you could be a student and get 1 year for $142 or 2 years for $250...

Another thought - Maybe you could get the digital version thru your library...

Thanks, the library experience was horrible (the app). I did receive a notice to renew my subscription at $142 but wanted to see if it could be found cheaper anywhere else.

Groupon used to have a Economist special $51 for 51 issues (USD) but I haven't seen that in a while. Of course, for these USA based offers, you would have use a US address and then contact Economist to change it to your address...

The cheapest current USA offer is $86.95 from Discountmags - see this thread - https://slickdeals.net/f/10653224-the-e ... tal-access?

Zinio is having a 40% off sale. PAYDAY40. Valid until Feb 27 at 11:59PM. This code works on special titles that are not normally discounted. My local library has the Zinio service but it not does have every single magazine that Zinio offers. I am looking at the discount for Wired UK. Keep in mind if you decide to buy the 1 year sub, you can of course cancel at anytime and your remaining subscription amount can be reimbursed.

Any ideas if this method works for Marvel or DC Comics subscriptions?

I have just received an email from DiscountMags that includes yearly subscription offers for comic books.

Thanks all.
