I don't think there could be a better deal anywhere. No purchase required, don't even have to leave home. Slight hassles with reg and phone calls...but worth the $100+ I got out of them.

God I love all the people who subsidize us RFDers and throw their money away and not caring about deals.

I can't wait to see what other bonuses they have in the future!

Can anyone confirm if it charges your credit card as a cash advance or just a regular payment?

RBC Visa wasn't charged cash advance fee. It seems to me that a M/C is more likely to be charged fees.

Quick Question:

Has anyone had issues with multiple people in a household doing this? IE: Say dad, mom, wife, all did this with their respective credit cards or bank accounts, but all live under the same address?

my citicard enrich platinum counts it as a regular purchase
however the scotia visa counts it as a cash advance

just wondering, has anyone thought/tried of making a large deposit from the citicard (since it counts as a purchase, get the 1% cash back, and then transfer the balance from the gambling account back to your bank account, and the pay off the credit card?)

Of course we've all thought of it. :) But don't do it (often).

At my local Great Canadian Casino you cannot purchase tokens on credit card for exactly this reason.

Just a note that only the primary cardholder can register the credit card. At least that is what I found when my family members attempted this on a joint account. Worked fine for the primary cardholder but then BCLC could not verify the 2nd person on the account.

Well I did got 5$ charge extra fee (it's not exactly cash advance, just an additional fee when purchasing gambling, tokens, lotto tickets, etc) on top of my 100$ deposit. Have PC MC

However who am I to complain. I still made almost 100$ profit in 5 minutes. Unless I will work for microsoft or get a brilliant idea I doubt I will do it again :P

Just withdrew $207.50 using the baccarat method! $107.50 profit! I had to email copies of my license and a utility bill but I got an email about 6 hours later saying my account was active. Surprisingly fast considering the phone backlog.

Thanks to the OP and everyone who contributed to this thread for the good of all us RFD'ers! Best online community ever! :D

I have the same issues and I refuse to give up. Can you explain exactly what they needed you to do to get it to work? Also, what email address of theirs did you send it to?

Yeah it is a little frustrating to say the least, but still worth it for the quick money. The email address is: consumerservices@bclc.com

I simply took a good picture with my digital camera of my drivers license and a utility bill (I used my Bell TV bill) and sent them in an email with all my personal info (name, address, phone, email) to match with my playnow account. They need to confirm your address (you must be a BC resident) and your age (must be of legal age to gamble). I also stated at the beginning of the email that I was sending the documents to verify my personal info to activate my playnow account. Fairly straightforward.

If you are going to take pictures be careful with the lighting. They want a bright clear large picture of each, but the license will reflect light so you may need to take the pic from a slight angle. I took about 6 before I got one that looked really good. Have lots of light so the pics are not dark at all, I even used flash, just watch the glare! Another thing for security measures, I blocked the last 3 digits of my license with a small piece of paper and blacked out the account # on my bill. There is most likely no danger of theft of info but always better to be safe. I hope it works for ya! If you need any more help, just ask.

Just want to thank OP. Went through and profited $102 at then end of wagering my required $210. Made the decision to gamble a little bit at the BJ table and was going to bet $60 hands until I lost one. Won 5 straight hands and decided to cash out with $402 profit. Now off to find some deals to spend it on.

Thanks! Made a $97.50 profit. I used my Vancity Visa and didn't get charged for a cash advance. The money was in my bank account in less than 48 hours.

Make sure you spent $100 in CASH, as the first $10 is typically the $10 sign up token bonus.

Player win 3x ($10 bet using token, $100 bet using cash, $100 bet using bonus $100 token), winnings of $210

Dangerous, can blow cash so quickly

Money deposited back into my chequing account by 7 pm Friday, less than 24 hour turnaround
