So, to summarize your belief, those who serve the public community should only be made up of people that look like that community.

Otherwise, those managers will be racist and discriminate against others?

That's a very common tribal belief amongst those who feel they have not advanced fast enough in society. They wish society to change the rules to overlook qualifications, experience, training and credentials in favour of appearance.
Shareowners of all races and genders don't require staff of all races and genders, they require profit. The bottom line. Why else would they be shareholders?

Yes, laws are actually built that way to represent the community. For instance what is deemed as obscene to the community such as pornography laws.

What do you think tax dollars are? It's basically society paying for stuff representative of them - things, services, people

70%+ of people in Ontario (and likely the country) are "white" and I would wager that number was higher 2 decades ago when a lot of these people were starting out the careers that have brought them to the position they're in now. It's likely that positions in government will be dominated by "white" people when they are the largest group of people (even though classifying people as "white" is hilarious when the ethnic diversity among the group is obviously significant just looking at the pictures).

Also, keep up the identity politics CBC. Keep telling "white" people that they shouldn't have the jobs they have solely due to the colour of their skin. The backlash to this type of racism won't be dangerous at all...
What are you trying to imply with that comment? You mean like the kid who shot up a mosque full of Muslim people? What backlash are you implying.....

I've actually had some dumb-ass acquaintances get "offended" by that when they argued with me.

Things went quiet when I asked them who colonized the land and what did they look like.

Lets all go to Asia and complain about lack of whites making 6 figures in government jobs. It'll make just as much sense.
Yea because Japan’s birth rate is doin marvellous things. Oh and China, what an excellent leader that one. Let’s not forget about North Korea.

The reason why problem from ALL OVER the world moved to these parts were for better opportunities...

If public services start becoming unsatisfactory, and they are having a hard time recruiting employees, then obviously their wages need to be raised. Since public service seems to be the golden seat, it's fair to say that market forces have zero impact in determining their salaries...electioneering politicians do. That's wrong.

They should earn what they are worth and what their services are worth, nothing more and nothing less. That would be determined by how well public services are being distributed/performed and adjustments would be made accordingly. Every public servant I've ever met has shown to be earning far more than the worth they are providing though, and there's nothing to address that gap.
You’d be the worst manager ever.... both public and private.

Other than that, I don’t care what these people earn, But they have to do a damn good job. Public sector salary should influence private sector to pay up in some roles.

The best argument against this is that life is about bias' and should we create a society without bias'? There is really no point arguing that bias' don't exist when it's easily provable they do exist.

For instance, most of us have homes in the big city, now valued at over $1 million. Some of us own 2 homes :D
But it's only applicable if we were born before maybe 1990. If you were born after 1990 chances are you will NEVER be able to buy a home but you will rent for the rest of your life. And the only reason for this is because you were born too late. You can work 2x, 3x harder than someone born before 1990 but it won't matter :D

So should there be a mechanism for people born after 1990 to acquire homes in or close to the city other than moving into small towns no ones ever heard of.

Bias' are a real thing! Most people 5'4" tall aren't going to be CEOs no matter how good or how hard they work. The average height of CEOs is 6'2". Companies don't really want a leader people will be physically looking down at!
Tell that to Amazon CEO. This is just a myth to keep a certain bias (like you said) as leaders

Revolutionary times must on occasion make do with considerable abridgements in order to accentuate the political line more strongly.

So explain the disparity between the population and the government then. Less than half of Toronto is white, yet almost the entire public sector is. The private sector shows that there are no lack of qualified candidates with the right personalities to succeed, so the logical conclusion to draw from this lack of representation proportional to population demographics is that the government is deliberately not hiring the most qualified people and prefers instead to hire based on skin colour. The articles from former firefighters and such outlining the overt racism among their workplaces don't help things.
It's difficult to represent every ethnic group proportionally, as groups have different IQ, cultural, and economic outcomes. For the example: if you subtract black and hispanic crime from the the US crime stats, the white crime rate is virtually the same as Switzerland. This is because whites have an average IQ of 100, while hispanics 80 and blacks around 70. Not to mention blacks are plagued by a ridiculously high single motherhood rate, and we all know neglected children don't turn out well, hence their culture continues to breed future criminals.

Now if you continue to claim racism, then you have to explain why East Asians do so well, they have an average IQ of 105 and generally earn higher incomes than the native white population. Silicon Valley itself is almost 40% East Asian, while East Asians are minority in California. Subsequently, Orientals don’t show up in the crime stats, trying to find one in prison is the equivalent to looking for needle in a haystack. At the end: we can't even represent the groups proportionally in prison, how are we expected to do it in the workplace? This is as silly as making the claim that women should be represented proportionally in the military.

That is the way it is done where I worked. All applicants are scored on their abilities and qualifications before they even got interviewed and you most certainly could not disregard because of creed, color, race , gender height or smell. All applicants that did not male the "list" were de-briefed and told why and signed the document explaining why.
Then wouldn't those pesky East Asians and Ashkenazi Jews take all the high paying jobs?

Its a simple google search. And why are people paying for one? Because people have choice. Some families go to an OB/GYN for a normal birth that would cost way less with a midwife. Some families take their kids to see an expensive pediatrician rather than a family doctor for the common cold.
