Take a look at this guys. These are the new plans that Bell is offering to its "valuable" customers. Thoughts?

$105 is the BYOD price for 6GB, vs $45 for the TBay plan. Wow (yeah the $105 plan is shareable but most of us ain't sharin')

The $45/$50 on Bell is also shareable...if one requested it from Bell when getting their plan.

You should visit the SK $55 thread.
It's madness.

PM me please. No, you PM me please.
Oh you!
LOL, reading the thread now. Hilarious.

Funny - the mods don't want "methods" explained in public...but using their servers to PM instructions is totally OK.

Well I don't think they like that either but one could just then PM someone and move to emailing offline. So, barring PM's providing instructions is not going to be effective at all. On top of that, even if they wanted to, it's easy to delete instructions provided on the public forums as you do it once. They have to be monitoring a hell of a lot of PM's if they wanted to stop instructions being given that way and would eat up too many resources and not be effectual anyway as I showed.

if the plan was shareable (when initially requested), you would still need to have at least 2 lines at $45/50 per month right?

But now, the 2 lines can share the pool of 12GB of data....1 line could use 1GB and the other could use 11GB....

Not sure I understand the question? You can share the TB Plan (share version) with any compatible Data Share rate plans available over the last years.

ahh, I thought you were required to sign up to at least 2 TB plans and the two accounts could share the pool of data amongst themselves...

But from what I gather from above, you can have 1 TB plan and another Data shareable plan (say 500MB) and then share the pool of 6.5GB amongst the 2 plans?

Unless I am out to lunch - this data shareable plan is new to me....so maybe I am misunderstanding the concept...

Yup; you can share any two compatible data share plans. Even the $10 Tablet BYOD plan can share with the TB plan (share version). Or...if someone has TB Share today and wants to add another user, they could do the $35 / $55 (or is it $40 / $60) Data Share VD Plus plans now.

nice...damn, the $35 would be lowest? That would be so beneficial then if you don't use that much data!

I think there was a $20 plan with Voice and data was paid per use.....that would be awesome....

Is this plan still active? My 3 years with Rogers retentions is almost up and I've heard they now suck at negotiating so thinking of switching to this. I've got an unlocked Nexus 5 anyways! :)

with the way monthly cell phone plan prices are going - it might still be worth it if you can get a cheap flight! or car ride.....

The data would only share on the $35 BYOD / $55 VD Plus plan as they contain the "0MB Data Share" feature.

Sorry, to clarify, I meant, can you still get this plan using the loophole with billing addresses and through the phone? Or does it have to be in person now?

Nope. Closed a long time ago.

In other news, Koodo has a SK $55 5GB plan, next best in line (would be $49.50 for you BYOD)
koodo-55-unlimited-canada-wide-talk-tex ... y-1377656/

Still attainable. Perhaps not for long.
