[Metro] Back Again 16" XL 3 Topping Stone Baked Pizza $10.99 ON YMMV

Update - in the flyer again for the week of March 31-April 6th.
I am hoping it becomes the regular price.

It's back again - yes I realize some locations have this as regular price.
Others only have the low price when the sale is on.
It's a reasonably decent pizza (better than some/most of the mainstream pizza places especially the chain with orange and white décor)

Of course the pizza is only as good as the person making it and previous Metro sale threads have had posts that mention great product and others complaining of a poor experience.

I can vouch for Aurora ON as offering a pretty good pizza - it may have something to do with the fact that they have a manual oven vs the Metro at Bathurst and Steeles in Toronto ON where the pizza is made in a timer controlled oven and isn't quite as good.

They also have grass fed New Zealand lamb shoulder chops on sale for $5.99 lb.
We have had good success basting them with a mixture of olive oil/rosemary/fresh garlic when on the BBQ.
Yes they are shoulder chops vs loin.

This has been the deal since January 1st? At least at my Metro. It runs until the end of the month, I've gotten it a few times but it's been constantly advertised.

Don't bother with this pizza deal at the parklawn and lakeshore Blvd (GTA) location. Yuk! No flavour and the dough was very thick.

Possible to get thin crust? Had this a long time ago and dough was way too thick.

I tried their pizza at the Shops at Don Mills location and it tasted worse than frozen pizza imo.
I took a little journey to the unknown
And I've come back changed I can feel it in my bones
I chased RFD deals that many can't see
Now the 50% off pizza deal got a hold on me

Oshawa
Stay away from the Oshawa location. Today I ordered panzerottis and they looked like a soft ball and the dough was raw inside. This is not the first time I have had bad experiences with this location.

The last time I bought lamb chops at Metro (same price/same chops) was at Bathurst and Steeles - chops were good i.e. not to fatty.

I find the Metro locations that actually have a stone oven make these pizzas best. The one where I used to work at Bayview and Eglinton had one and they were pretty good.

I would imagine you could if you asked the person making it - I always ask for thick crust and they have no problem making it a little bit thicker than usual (which is really thin at the location near me).

I mentioned this in the last thread but I’ve always been able to load up my pizzas with additional toppings for only $1 each and always order it with all of their meat toppings. I have no idea if other locations other than the one that I go to allow you to do that as well though.
