Waiting for someone to make the “ah sh*t here we go again” meme in front of a metro store (since I’m too lazy to do it myself)

My store in Downsview has the 10.99 deal quite a bit, and the pizza is really fkin good. I take it home and throw on some more toppings/cheese and toss it in the oven. So, so good.

I dunno if its just my Metros, but whenever I order the pizza the dough is a bit soft and not crusty enough. I've asked them to make it well done, and not to overload their toppings, but it still has this doughy consistency feel to it.

Just a heads up. If you have a Metro that is also on SkipTheDishes near you, they currently have this same deal, but for 4 toppings instead of 3. Free delivery over $20.
Makes it especially hot if Skip has sent you a discount recently.

They just sent me an $8 off offer, so after fees and tip (15%) it's like $21.xx for 2 of these 4-topping pizzas delivered. Pretty good.

These pizzas are so big, I usually freeze the excess and just thaw it out a few slices at a time when I feel like it. Still tastes great.

I don't know why, seems my metro in Hamilton center always don't have the deal listed here, they only have regular price items.

It's in the next week flyer (March 16-22). If they make fresh pizza, they have to honour it lol.

i’ve gotten it from this location multiple times…it seems they get very busy often and either remove the pizzas or disable delivery all together….it’s also mostly teens/younger people working the pizza oven so i haven’t had the best experience with the quality of my pizzas there fyi

Everyone I know says Metro pizza is good but I've been unimpressed both times I've had it. Not sure if it's my location (Iona Plaza, Mississauga) or just me being weird--I don't like cheese outside of tolerating it on pizza and poutine, and Metro puts a lot of it on. I can't confirm but I think they might use a blend that includes an orange cheese too?

Thanks, about 2 month ago, they have the same promotion, I went and asked a young girl work there, she said they don't do promotion there, but she can offer me 4 topping for 16.99, I thought they are the location that didn't have the promo. Now I guess maybe they just want to upsell a bit.

Probably your location. My local Metro is usually great. Better than going to a local pizza place anyway.

They definitely are known for putting a lot of cheese on though. At least from my experience. I like cheese, but they put a stupid amount on every time.

Their special is now XL pepperoni and cheese for $10.99 (not 3 toppings) at my local Metro's, so make sure you ask before you place your order, otherwise 3 toppings may cost you $14.95.
Currently happy customer with Koodo and Virgin Mobile.

Quality is YYMV at Metro locations and the person making the pizza. This has been mentioned in previous Metro Pizza threads.

it wasn’t on when i replied (only showed the king east location) but it just let me order from the centre mall location

edit- spoke too soon…let me place an order but metro didn’t confirm it and it got canceled…same thing that happened last time…wondering if i should report the store to corporate or something, seems like an employee just doesn’t want to do their job

I agree this Metro has unimpressive pizza, I'm not sure why. The one on the west end was much better, though I'm not willing to drive that far just for cheap pizza

Funny enough on another note, the pizza pizza in Iona ALSO is terrible - they made me truly understand the "cardboard" crust complainers, their cheese is also plastic. I drive to grand park if I need a quick fix

No, I don't believe so.

The only offer they give to new customers is $5 off your first order and that's if you make sure to sign up using someone's referral code first.
