CT also has their own in-house reward program... Metro uses Air Miles a third party rewards program. Metro points are earned on Sunday to Saturday cycles. Points earned in each cycle will be posted on the following Wednesday. This means you get points the following Wednesday, except if you shop on Sundays, then points would be posted the 2nd Wednesday after.dilligafeh wrote: ↑ So they say. The only time air miles post instantly is their own promo without involving 3rd parties, like that Carousel of dreams game they had last month.
This is just how IT works at lower cost, reconciliation with third party isn't that simple.
Same idea as why bank to bank transfer take many business days and are subject to holds.
