[Metro] Jane's Ultimate Chicken Fillets or Bites 800g $5.99 with app (reg. $17)

METRO has Jane's Ultimate Breaded Chicken Fillets or Bites 800g for $5.99, price available only to app users.

I haven't tried these but they are probably pretty good ---No Frills sells them for $18 each

Remember how the regular Jane's used to be 800g even into 2019? The shrinkflation is awful.

Honestly I have to say that Jane’s frozen chicken line is the worst in the market , I Have tried them many times during the last 5 years just to make sure I’m wrong but I wasn’t , I’m not picky but comparing to the other brands they don’t taste even so so , Actually they are almost tasteless !

I agree with you on their pub style crap, but I haven't tried their Ultimate line, have you?

Yeah , I usually do not use any sauce with my food to taste the bite and i found jane’s ingredients for breading kinda tasteless , Maybe it’s because of the inappropriate portion of the flour they use in the formula.

Probably at least 100g of these is the sauce packets. They're definitely better than the normal cardboard flavored Janes though.

The Jane's Ultimate Bites are pretty damn good. Way better than the Pub Style stuff. I'll be getting a lot of these if I can get multiples at this price.

Haha my wife and I talk about this all the time actually. They like putting them on sale but they are playing tricks on the public. It's no longer worth what it use to be because they shrunk the size!

These comments are weird to me though, I'd rather Jane's over a lot of other ones on the market.
Open to suggestions if you are purchasing something in the $5-15 price range.

Ultimates are way better quality than the Janes pub style stuff. This is a good deal. I wish they wouldn't include the sauce though, I don't use it so it's just a waste. I'd rather have an extra chicken strip in the box!
