[Metro] Mystery Bonus - up to 105 bonus air miles when you redeem 285YMMV

Expiry:: December 8, 2019
Retailer:: Metro

Check your inbox - I got an e-mail from Metro with a "mystery offer" of redeem 285 air miles between December 5 - 8, get a bonus of 110 (38.6% return).
Metro also has a promotion on in their flyer for redeem 95 air miles between December 5 - 8, get a bonus of 25 (26% return).
Would be amazing if they stacked, then it would be nearly 50% back in air miles when redeeming $30.00 worth. Even if you can't stack them, the mystery offer seems better if you have enough miles. Not as good as redeem 95 get 50 but that offer has been far and few lately. I guess you could try to use towards a shop the block offer at Metro.

Unfortunately, I went to Metro this morning to participate in the redeem 95 get 25 back.

Then afterwards, I received this email about redeeming 190 get 70 back, so I'm SOL for today.
(Metro should have sent the email last night, as this promo starts Dec 5 today.)
To stack this with get 25 back, it would be 95 miles back for redeeming 190, which is incredibly hot.

I'll consider going back some other time this weekend.

I got redeem 285 get 105. I wish I got your redeem 190 get 70 especially if it stacks with the redeem 95 get 25.

Fine print for both offers states you can do this once per account per day.

I'm in the same boat. Got the emails 20 minutes after I got home with my 95 redemption x 2. One card had the same offer as you, the other 105 for redeeming 285. As for stacking, we can't tell because the 25 BAM do not show on the receipt, nor apparently for this 'Mystery Bonus'. So 25 if you redeem 95, 70 or 95 if you redeem 190, and 105 or 130 if you redeem 285.

Got 70 for 190 ($20) offer... does it stack with 25 air miles back on 95 this weekend as well as any shop the block offer ? Stackable ?

I had this same offer for the Nov 15 weekend and completed it. Metro was also running a redeem 95 get 25 back that same weekend.

I received the 105 BAMs on Nov 22, but so far no sign of the 25. If I recall correctly someone else in the AirMiles Discussion thread had the same thing happen to them. While those who did not get the special 105 BAM offer have reported receiving their 25 BAMs.

So it appears that these do not stack based on a small number of reports from the last event, but I do plan to put in an inquiry with AM chat when I can (April 2020) for my missing 25 BAMs.

Got this offer too, redeem 285, get 105 BAM. Does not count for STB but you might be able to combine both in one transaction, not sure.

It says beer and wine excluded, but do they really know if I redeem Air miles for beer and wine, or I cannot even redeem it to beer?

I did a redeem last week for a giftbasket and used the shop the block promocode and I got the shop the block showing in my account so I don't see why it won't work
