Metro in ON have Fresh (usually are frozen for transport and thawed) New Zealand Lamb Shoulder Chops for $4.99 lb.

I am one of those crazies who BBQ's even in the Winter.

They were pretty good looking (yes I realize they are not loin chops - but IMHO the price is right).

The quality is really YMMV. I went to 2 Metro. One is pretty dry and the other one is fresh. By the way, if you have AM points, choose the pack close to $10. Redeem 95AM and earn 25AM back (4 days only).

I use these for lamb ragu. Put them in the pressure cooker and debone it afterwards Face Savouring Delicious Food
