Microbytes was the big name in computers in 1998 in Montreal.
Then everyone's desktop started dying because it's 1998 and no one knew the importance of brand name motherboards and power supplies :P. I bet lots of people have microbytes stories :)

That was a long time ago though. Ownership structure likely changed many times since then, and so has the industry.

Totally agree the shipping for me kills the deal. It shouldn't cost $37 to ship a processor to Saskatchewan.

Don't think it has, pretty sure the same family owns the HQ and run the franchises. No idea how their still in business. Stores are depressing, website is a joke, pricing is almost always higher than local and online competition.
