I said same about another laptop and there were plenty of people rebutting. I stopped talking; there is no point helping or saying right things here.

I've upvoted you because there are only few of us left.

It all depends on your budget doesn't it. for $400 it might check several boxes for some including price. If you want all the boxes checked obviously you have to spend more as I personally would.

I think people don't like these comments because they are just the same comment over and over again.

We all know that by now every laptop should have 4K screens with 16GB ram, 1TB SSD for under $300 but it will never happen.

I myself don't like to see a bunch of 1 line comments. I would rather see people commenting on if this is a good price or not. And if not what can we compare it to and at what price range etc...

I would accept 4GB RAM and 64GB SSD with an i3, if it meant I could get a 1080P screen, a decent keyboard and trackpact at the same price point.

I would add that the low screen resolution on a 15.6" laptop kills the deal for me, but people are also sick of that same comment over and over again.

Personally, I wouldn't get a laptop with 768 resolution in 2020 regardless of the price. So there is no point commenting if the price point is good or not.

Don't forget the TN panel and 3-cell battery. So low-end HP doesn't even bother to give it a brand name. They just call it HP Laptop. No way in hell anyone would pay $850 for this thing.
Whenever someone asks a question that starts with "Why do they..." or "Why don't they...", the answer is always a) money, b) stupidity, or c) both.

On this laptop, Can we upgrade the RAM ourselves by buying it off Amazon or some place else?

The screen is definitely a deal breaker.

Unless you use external monitor
