Great price but the number of playback devices is limited for MS movies.

Note that purchases from the USA site requires a USA credit card or USA PayPal. Not sure if MS credits can be used to pay.

Ya, I either use my PC, or my Xbox One S. And because of that, I rarely use it. Though I do have a small HTPC attached to my TV, it's just less convenient.

Great deal! I haven't seen the 3rd and 4th movie, but I loved seeing my city in the 2nd one!

I tend to only purchase from USA iTunes for movies that don't port. If they ported, I'd buy for sure.

You've only "purchase a license" to access and play the movie. Not truly own it. That's probably a reason why Blu-Ray and DVDs are making a comeback. If you don't own the physical media, you don't truly own the movie. In this day and age, "ownership" is all about who controls it. If it's only available on the provider's servers, they can revoke your license, as a result, access to the movie at any time they see fit.

Not discouraging those who don't mind this reality for the deal, but you should walk in with both eyes open. It's almost as good as a rental, but no late fees, and you don't care if it goes away "at some point" in future. If you want to truly own this collection on a long term basis, then there's no way to get around it than to purchase the Blu-Ray/DVD set.
Why settle for full retail price when you can wait and get it at a lower price for better value (even better if there's a bundled freebies deal)? 😉

I swear these movies are on every streaming service that exists. Anyone who asks for the rights must get it...

I've never been able to find a way to watch it on a Firestick, Chromecast with GGTV, or AppleTV in HD or 4k.

1 and 2, for me have become films that i just throw on when i want to shut my brain off relax and watch something but don't necessarily want to pay attention to something new.
3, I fell asleep towards the end twice. Made it through the third viewing but may only watch again if I feel like a Wick night.
4...nope, don't think I'll do that one again.
So there goes the Wick-a-thon idea. So, it going to be JW 1&2, and The Matrix (the first film is the only one that exists to me) and call it a Keanu gunner night.

Im buying this deal because Im good with paying the price for the first 2 films, after all the times streaming them from "other" sources.
I have the perfect playback device for it from this deal years ago,

Still use it every now and then Friends episodes (another RFD deal), and and a few MS Anime Month purchases my kid and I made over the past few years.

Never forget that you don't own what you buy on digital stores. You are only renting it until they shut down the service.

This "ownership" thing comes up in almost every digital deal thread. Everyone on RFD coming into a thread like this already knows whats going to be said and debated by now so lets not start the derailment.

How could we possibly forget when multiple people feel the need to continuously remind people in the same thread and in every single thread?
