[Microsoft] MAINGEAR ELEMENT MG-ELMT001-2070 Gaming Laptop; 15.6" / i7-9750H / 32GB RAM / 2TB SSD / 8GB RTX 2070 MAX Q [$1759+tax]

So I saw this deal on the Microsoft store.
It looks pretty good with the amount of ram and ssd you get in combination with a 8gb graphics card and an i7-9xxxx chip.

For less than $2k in ONT, $1759 x 1.13 (ON) = $1987.67 looks like you can get a laptop with:
  • BRAND: MAINGEAR
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-9750H 2.6GHz up to 4.5Ghz
  • RAM: 32 GB, DDR4 2666
  • SSD: 2TB
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q with 8GB dedicated graphics memory

Branded laptops with FULL SIZE rtx 2070 and i7 10th gen were selling for this price or lesser last year. And this is a MAX Q that's barely better than a full size rtx 2060. Very cold deal to be honest. Yes you get a ton of ram and a big ssd but those aren't really a selling point.

Apperantly the GPU will thottle at 75C so thats a no for me. I tried a Asus with RTX2070 and it ran very hot and was loud. I doubt this would make any gamer happy unless hes playing Counterstrike or older games.

I have this CPU chip i7-9750H. Stay away throttles hard reaches 100 degrees! Dell swapped out my heat sinks and was way better but if you can get anything but the 9750H you are doing yourself a favour.

So you're saying it was the cooling solution's fault and you still blame the cpu? I mean, you may well be right but your reasoning is strange.
