Another strategy. Get your hands on an xbox + extra controller bundle from Walmart, sell the console on Kijiji for what you paid for the bundle, and keep the extra controller. Controller = Free.

Why didn't I think of that? Oh wait, I did. :)

Hmmm, have to cancel yesterdays Walmart order for the old version @ $54.99.

5bux more for the new version. Worth it.

Could be cheaper if you use the 10% off gc from Costco and 1.3% GCR

Just got the Costco Xbox gift card, but don't see a spot to enter it in Microsoft checkout (on mobile) will have to check on desktop later.
Also, Rakuten is 3.5%,but not sure if it counts if we use gift cards.

Or Moola has $115 for $100 if you have something else to buy.

Besides the Bluetooth and wireless adapter. Can also connect via USB-C if you’re concerned about “latency”.

The price is 59.98 at Costco, not on discount. Strong signs that this is the new regular price.

Is this controller worth $60 for PC gaming? It seems to be the last generation controller with one more button, a share button of all things. In contrast, the PS5 controller has several new features, plus a built-in rechargeable battery.

If this was the PS5 controller $60 would be a great deal. But $60 for what's essentially a last generation controller seems like regular price to me.
