If I'm not mistaken:

-This one doesn't have quick-charge
-The num and caps lock don't have indicator lights
-The panel is 60 Hz
-The keyboard is perma-red and no RGB
-The speakers are no better than average
-The battery is 58Wh I think
-It's got 2 M.2 slots though

It's only $899, though...

I think there are only 2 (good) ways to shop for a laptop:
1, pack the highest spec into the lowest price.
2, pack the highest spec into the lowest weight.

Acer is usually (1) but sometimes they try to be both (1) and (2). If some Legion Y540 deal comes up again at $899, it will neither be that much better in specs nor build quality.

Really don't think it was $699, that would've been decently huge.

Would've been a crime if it was and wasn't posted to RFD.

Don't most gaming laptops have batteries around 70Wh?

My mistake, you're right. Would be basically $799 before tax with the RBC offer then.

You can also sign up for ampli and get 5% cash back on this.
Detailed specs on Acer do not show 144hz panel, the generic image used on the features page is not for this model unfortunately. If you were to go by that image, this laptop would also have a 1660Ti which it does not.
1 . The top, bottom and keyboard covers are metal; the inner chassis is plastic.
2 . Specifications vary by model and/or region.
3 . Battery life varies depending on product configuration, power settings and usage, among other factors. Please visit www.acer.com.

You're right. It's a 60hz IPS instead.
