thanks OP, was looking for a comp for my dad. kind of regretted not getting the dell 5505 for him, but he seems to like smaller comps. He refuses to use anything other than some 12 inch chromebook I got him like 8 years ago, and it's dying so I needed to get him something else. And the touchscreen should be nice, seems like boomers respond well to touch control.

I'm happy with the 5505, but I'm pretty sure I would have spent more and bought this if it was this price on boxing day.

Seems solid. RAM upgradeable? Not a fan of disposable laptops.

Almost a perfect convertible if there is no Screen Flickering issue.

Great value.

This is a good price - $250 less than what I bought it for in November 2020. Thunderbolt support, great display, 16 GB RAM is soldered but should be good for a while.

I ended up returning it though. I was skeptical of the overall build quality - hinges would get out of sync L/R sometimes in a janky way; screen randomly flickering, sometimes not solved until restart. Keyboard felt cramped and trackpad is mushy.

Is the Active Stylus included? The overview describes it and does not say that it is an option.

It's built-in to this model (has a silo, it's integrated) so I'd be very surprised if it wasn't included. I don't believe Acer even sells spares yet..?
