Just a heads up that some series are on sale for the whole month, while others only few a few days.

A whole bunch seem to say: 3 days left.
While others day 23 days left.

So I guess some series are only on sale until the 8th? And other until the end of the month.

ARGH! Don't make the same mistake as me - I bought all of Attack on Titan, the way it is on the Microsoft store is you don't get both language tracks in one. How stupid! I just bought the regular marked ones which are all the English dubs. If you want the Japanese audio track you must purchase the so called "Japanese version".

How stupid! Silly of me to assume otherwise I guess but still...ugh.

Yes, it is ridiculous to do it this way. But is this just a Microsoft thing? I quickly browsed through all the typical "blockbuster" movies I own on Microsoft Movies & TV, and NONE of them support multiple languages... Just English (or their native language, like Kung Fu Hustle is Chinese).

Don't get why anyone would watch the English dubbed version of anything (always wondered about the appeal, sorry for those who mistakenly bought dubbed). Voiceover and translation is always awful and less enjoyable than the subtitled Japanese original.

Attack on Titan is so good. Never heard of it before now.
Thanks OP.

I have never watched an anime dubbed before but I've been rewatching Season 1 on Netflix dubbed (to get "used" to it since I just bought all the latter seasons dubbed). It's still enjoyable - one nice thing about watching dubbed is I don't have to constantly stare at the screen to read what's going on. It definitely is a concentrated effort to watch subbed.

The actual issue now though is Netflix doesn't subtitle the english language track so it reads different than what is actually being spoken.

Ok, so for everything ending tomorrow (have no idea what time), it's basically everything on this first page, from "Dr Stone" to "Yu Yu Hakusho". Attack on Titan is the exception, being Feb 14.

Everything after Yu Yu Hakusho starts alphabetically from [C] Control, and seems to all end on Feb 28. I haven't found an exception yet. But it's 100s of series, so I can't note them all.

Ok, so the Microsoft Store is the worst for organization. If you follow the main link, you will no longer find any of the shows that were noted as ending on Feb 8. But, if you follow my links to the actual shows, it will says "5 hrs left" as of this posting. So if you are still interested in anything in that list, this is your last chance.

Now, they have also added new shows ending on Feb 14. It used to be just Attack on Titan. Now there's a whole bunch more. It's the first batch from the main link now. I will copy this list later when I have time. Notables include: Berserk, Demon Slayer, Fruits Basket, Goblin Slayer, My Hero Academia, Wolf's Rain, and many others.

And everything else is still Feb 28.

EDIT: this was the list for things ending Feb 8. I've removed it from the main post.

Updated with anime sales that are ending on Feb 14. Many of them are newer, and rated 14+ or 18+. And have uncut versions. Unfortunately, the uncut versions are always English dub only. And this time I tried sticking with only posting the Japanese version, or the English uncut versions. I didn't both posting the regular English or Simuldubs. It's just too many links to post.

Crap. I've only started getting back into using Edge, and collecting Microsoft Rewards. But I've been buying my anime, one series at a time. Do you know if this is cumulative?

Just a reminder that everything noted under Feb 14 will expire tomorrow at midnight (EST?). I believe everything that ended on Feb 7th, ended at midnight of that day.

I know a bunch of these series are either old or not finished. But $5 for most shows that are only a season is pretty good. Multiple seasons, maybe not as much.

Some people struggle to read subtitles and watch at the same time. For example, people with visual disabilities. Some anime aren’t too great dubbed, but AOT is a great dub imo

Well, today is the last day for anyone interested in buying some anime series on the Microsoft online store. Website shows it as "21 hours" remaining.

Sale.PNG

Remember, if you use the link in the original post, the list only partially loads. For me, it now gets to Blazblue: After Memory.

If you open your "Films & TV" app on your PC, there is a banner at the top for the sale. This list will at least get you to "The Heroic Legend of Arslan". Anything after this alphabetically, you will need to manually search for. It's dumb.
