So the Xbox one X will be 499 instead of 599?

Its $100 off an Xbox one X that doesnt include any games in the box and $70 off one that does include a game in the box.
So basically, it's going to be cheaper to buy an Xbox One X by itself and then buy a game, than to buy the bundle with the game?

Because all the bundles on their site except for the Fallout 76 one are $70 more expensive than a solo One X.

I am considering these devices to buy for by daughter (ASUS VivoBook Flip , Lenovo Flex , Surface Go) . Any suggestions as to which is the better option?

What is the purpose of the laptop for? Just regular usage?

Go check out the G3 in Microsoft store and see if you like the monitor. The other general complain is that the Dell laptop makes quite a bit of noise.

Flex would put you in the same price as the Dell 15 G3 mentioned above ($649 vs $749), and that gives you much better bang for your buck for only $100 more. The Dell G3 does weight 5lbs though.
The Go seems to be reviewed much better than the Vivobook, but their specs are pretty similar outside of the screen. Also you would have to pay for a Type Cover for the Go but the Vivobook comes with a keyboard. Another difference is the Vivobook is 1lb heavier than the Go.

If she just wants it for general media consumption (netflix), some casual games, and light homework, you could even look for any iPad (currently $429 not on sale) deals and pick that up for her. Dell also has their own Black Friday sales on a bunch of computers they don't sell at Microsoft Store or Bestbuy, keep an eye out for those too!

Can you stack it with the student discount? Looking to buy a laptop that is already discounted by $200 thanks to student/parent pricing.

Yes. It is essentially for word processing and web browsing.

Get one that is without dedicated graphics.

For regular usage, anything with 8 GB ram, Core I5 is good enough.
For faster speed, get a 240GB + SSD drive and you will be able to see 40-50% speed improvement in terms of loading speed for software and browsing.

I actually have the Surface 1 Pro. I carry it onto plane and use it at home as a regular media outlet.
It has SSD and the smaller portability makes it great.

Price range wise, you should be able to find something in the range of $350 - 700 Range.
Anything beyond that I would say skip it.

I heard the i5 on the Surface Pro 6 is fanless. Is that bad for performance? I bought the ThinkPad X1 Yoga but this Black Friday deal is making me wonder if I should return it.

How is the Asus Flip book? I would like to replace my current outdated laptop. This would be used mainly for work. Customer presentations, email, web browsing, that sort of thing.

I think if the default design is without fan then it should be fine... It just meant they have enough airflow to generate enough cooling for the CPU

I was semi-interested, until I saw the list of free games. Just Dance 2016...seriously?

Seems so. Its still cheaper than USD 399, even after exchange rates (that will be the US BF pricing for the solo X).
