Well this model is 2 years old at this point. Technology has shifted a tremendous amount over the past 2 years.

And... no ssd...

This PC is 2 years old. You may get your required spec PC in 4 years for this price.

Not difficult at all. SSD doesn't even need to be screwed into a bay if your tower is remaining stationary, just plug in the sata cable (one of the ones that is literally only shaped to fit the drive) and leave it dangling wherever, windows will see it on next boot. Legit it's as easy as plug and play. If you want it to be your system drive even reinstalling windows is pretty hard to flub these days.

Looks like it has an m.2 slot in it, so even easier really. It's SATA, just confirmed in the service manual.

EDIT - as usual there is conflicting information, looks like you can change the settings in the BIOS to AHCI and nVME will work but take that with a grain of salt.

Is it Possible to get two year old specs at this price point ? I was planning on getting a refurb business machine from Bauer or similar, but for a few hundred more I’m wondering if this machine makes more sense.
