This was recently on sale for $207. That was a good price for something you can run Linux on or whatever.

$249 is not a deal, imo.

For a 13" touch screen $250 tablet.... them's pretty on-point specs.
You're gonna use it for web browsing, playing movies... not for playing CoD!

The thing is, this is a 1.5Kg "tablet", definitely not fun to use in tablet mode. Unless you really need Windows, a base iPad would be much more usable for an average person.

imo its best use is dual boot option..u can install live usb bootup to imitate a touch screen chromebook and yet still have stock win10 option, the dealbreaker is the NO ac wifi

I am not sure if anyone test it with this particular laptop before, but I used to try ChromeOS with a HP Stream 14. CloudReady runs great, but sleep function would not work properly. It also has some small weird bugs here and there. And always remember CloudReady does not support Android apps.

I bought this at 210$ a few weeks ago, and the screen is gorgeous. Is it the fastest, or biggest battery, or whatever? No. Also, the keyboard is not detachable, so it is heavier and thicker when used as a tablet.

But for those of us who want Windows over Chrome (actually, we want Apple but can't afford the ecosystem :) this is a big bargain. See how often a 13 inch screen Win 10 laptop with 4 g of ram drops to that price. The fingerprint reader is good too. Thanks OP

I'm picking one up for my son. Planning to just install Debian on it and use it for Kodi (movies) and browsing. The price is decent and 4GB memory and 32GB drive is fine for linux!

Not bad as long as you put a proper SSD in.

Extremely dopey to put 64 bit windows on a laptop with 32 GB of memory. I was not able to do the updates via wifi, because it ran out of space. Worse, it would not revert back to factory specs because there was not enough memory. I had to delete the contents of the software distribution library to achieve that goal. I then installed the 1909 version from USB and that worked. There is still too much needless bloat in the core OS that easily could be transferred to USB or online if Microsoft had the desire to do so. That winsxs bloat bug also needs to be fixed!

I bought this when it was on sale and it will not boot ChromeOS - cloudready or arnoldthebat. Returned it for a refund. Do not buy to run chrome OS! It does not work.
