Hitman 2 bundle for Xbox, $12 (85% off)

I love the Hitman series but man oh man do I hate how iOi does business. They can't simply sell you a complete game but sell it pieces to nickel and dime you: standard version, deluxe version, gold version, etc... and expansion packs.

I didnt mind that it was episodic but i agree that all the versions are super confusing. I have it installed on my console and PC but never really sure if its deluxe, regular or a demo version.

or at least if there's an expansion pack (new maps), make the cost reasonable. When we've already paid full price ($80+) for the game, don't come back and say give us another $40.

I like the world of assassination trilogy. It isn't everyone's cup of tea. But this is kind of misleading. The 'bundle' is in essence the actual complete game of Hitman 2. The Hitman 2 by itself is basic tutorial and some practice stuff. The missions listed here are actually what make up the chunk of the game and story.

I also have really hated how this has released upto Hitman 3. All these different variations, free starter pack, the pain it was getting my Hitman 1 and Hitman 2 maps into Hitman 3, blah blah. Same thing with every developer chasing the 'battle pass' now. But for Hitman it really affected the way the game was received.

Agree. But in the context of of this thread, the game is selling for $12 and the expansion pass is selling for $7.5. Quite reasonable IMO.

Sorry for going on a tangent.

Just got the newest Hitman 3 and I just installed it, and already see them asking for more $$ for the escalation contracts, and here I thought it would have been included.

Man, the headache I went through trying to get the access passes working for Hitman 3...

I only got the first one working even though I have the ioi account registered. First it didn't want to recognize anything. Have still yet to get it to recognize Hitman 2 even though I also played it. So stupid. Heck, even with Hitman 3, ioi is still trying to sell me the game even though I have the disc inserted into the console and it's loaded and playing.

Thanks OP. In for one. Haven't played in years, but did try it once on gamepass when it was "free" and not working... Hopefully it will work well now
